June 17 thru August 31, 2014 - Colorado Visit

So we traveled to Colorado and stayed at our son's back yard with full hookups.
We did so much during our trip here.  Enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, Ironman,  train rides, bowling, looking for property, eating alot, AJ's fight, 4th of July, much more and especially spending time with family and friends.  This trip lasted longer than anticipated as we were waiting on parts to get our RV fixed.  We, however, cherished our time. We also lost cousins during this time.  Cousin Dave Morgan and Max Vigil and Kallies Aunt Deb.

All these pictures are mixed and not in any special order as there were too many I added on.  Love family and friends all we can say........
Then we are saddened because our beloved Muffin has congestive heart failure. We made up our minds, since she will be gone soon, to have Gizmo adopted out to a great family, Kristina and Ginger.  He will be missed but loved and well taken care of.  We will keep Muffin until she is gone.  Love our dogs!!!

June 2014 Lake Whitney and then Family Reunion

Stayed at Lake Whitney Thousand Trails June 1st thru June 13th 2014.
This was a beautiful area, loved the deer, wild turkeys and we were able to meet up with friends

Nelson and Clara Evans.  Enjoyed the place and our friends.

Morgan Family Reunion June 14, 2014 - Our family renunion on the "Morgan" side was an awesome time and it was so gratifying seeing and meeting family after many years of not being around many of them.  The theme was Mardis Gras and it was great dressing the part and having everyone be silly and happy.  Uncle Preacher told great stories about the Morgan clan and everyone listened and took it all in.  Memories will be cherished.

April 8 thru June 1, 2014 Abilene State Park Work Camping

Decided to help out our daughter and co-workers at Abilene State Park with housekeeping chores in return for free site to include all Utilities.  This was a great park to work at and the work was not hard.
Animals galore throughout the park.
Family right around the corner and we spent some great bonding times again.

During this time one Granddaughter, Grace, graduated from Jr High and the other granddaughter, Paige, got married. It was a memorable visit.  Love our family.

March 1 thru April 7, 2014 - Stonewall, Texas

Stopped at Peach Country RV Park right outside of Fredericksburg, Texas.  This is a cute RV park and we would definetly return.  There were lot of touring opportunities here: LBJ Ranch; Johnson City; National Museum of Pacific War; George Bush Gallery; Luchenbach, Texas and wineries.
Here we met up with our long time friends Judi and David Kruse.  More memories created.

January - February - March 2014

January - we worked hard on helping create a new float for the annual Citrus parade. It was fun and well worth the work.  The float requirements were to use citrus fruit and vegetables grown in the Rio Valley.  We use grapefruits, oranges, palm trees, beans, cactus, chili peppers and other veggies. The hard work paid off and the float committee took 1st place. It was fun and a great effort.

February - 1st of all the Broncos forgot to show up at the Super Bowl.  So our Superbowl party was not fun....bahah. Clara Evans and I made our shirts, but at least that was fun.

John and I went to the Valentines Dance and it was nice and also our anniversary on February 14th. They had a country band so we decided to dress the part and wear our boots.  23 years of Marriage and still going strong.

I also traveled to Colorado for a few weeks February 19th  to take care of my grandson, Tristan while his parents were in Mexico.  I got to meet my new great grandson, Xavier and also spend a lot of time with my other great grandson, Derick and granddaughter Lexi.  During this time I was able to spend time with family and friends and it was just a great trip. Dinner and movie with Candace. Lunch with coworkers. Pizza with all the best girlfriends in the world. Jason and Kallie were great hosts and enjoyed the surprise visit from neice Evelyn and nephew Art and their grandson Elijah.  Pikes Peak was beautiful as well.

March - Our last month in the Rio Grande Valley. It was fun and we met lot more people this past winter and will have lasting memories of our new friends.  Of course we had to go fishing and make more trips to Mexico.
