March 1 thru April 7, 2014 - Stonewall, Texas

Stopped at Peach Country RV Park right outside of Fredericksburg, Texas.  This is a cute RV park and we would definetly return.  There were lot of touring opportunities here: LBJ Ranch; Johnson City; National Museum of Pacific War; George Bush Gallery; Luchenbach, Texas and wineries.
Here we met up with our long time friends Judi and David Kruse.  More memories created.

January - February - March 2014

January - we worked hard on helping create a new float for the annual Citrus parade. It was fun and well worth the work.  The float requirements were to use citrus fruit and vegetables grown in the Rio Valley.  We use grapefruits, oranges, palm trees, beans, cactus, chili peppers and other veggies. The hard work paid off and the float committee took 1st place. It was fun and a great effort.

February - 1st of all the Broncos forgot to show up at the Super Bowl.  So our Superbowl party was not fun....bahah. Clara Evans and I made our shirts, but at least that was fun.

John and I went to the Valentines Dance and it was nice and also our anniversary on February 14th. They had a country band so we decided to dress the part and wear our boots.  23 years of Marriage and still going strong.

I also traveled to Colorado for a few weeks February 19th  to take care of my grandson, Tristan while his parents were in Mexico.  I got to meet my new great grandson, Xavier and also spend a lot of time with my other great grandson, Derick and granddaughter Lexi.  During this time I was able to spend time with family and friends and it was just a great trip. Dinner and movie with Candace. Lunch with coworkers. Pizza with all the best girlfriends in the world. Jason and Kallie were great hosts and enjoyed the surprise visit from neice Evelyn and nephew Art and their grandson Elijah.  Pikes Peak was beautiful as well.

March - Our last month in the Rio Grande Valley. It was fun and we met lot more people this past winter and will have lasting memories of our new friends.  Of course we had to go fishing and make more trips to Mexico.
